We have been operating in Ethiopia for the past twelve years and have
managed projects in all corners of this diverse country. We have an
excellent understanding of the environments and the people within them and
with those whom we operate.
Our standards of QHSE are geared to dealing with large multi-national corporations and we have an excellent track record of success and delivery in this area. We understand and comply with the exceptional Health, Safety and Quality standards and regulations surrounding safe operational practice and environmental protection expected within the mining and oil and gas industries.
We are setup to provide a full spectrum of support services to mine and
exploration sites, thus negating the need for management of multiple sub
contractors.
Within our ability to supply fully functional camp facilities, we also,
through our sister company Abaca Africa PLC, are able to offer catering,
housekeeping and other life support services to guesthouses, small and
large exploration camps, hotels and large mine sites.
About Our People
The company is headed up by Dereje Belay our enthusiastic energetic and
tireless managing Director. Dereje started the company twelve years ago
and has orchestrated its growth from its humble beginnings as a small tour
and travel company to its continuing strength as the leading market
supplier of Logistical and Support Services in Ethiopia.
Dereje has long established his reputation in the Ethiopian business
community as an ethical shrewd and reliable operator. As a result he has a
well-established network of key relationships in industry, supply and
government circles and thus has unique insight and sought after local and
regional knowledge.
Dereje is very passionate about promoting and empowering Ethiopia and
her incredible culture, heritage and people. Dereje is ably and keenly
supported by a strong management team lead by:

He also has a team of very dedicated support and technical staff most of
who have been with him from the very beginning including a network of
